Terms of Service
Effective date: September 22, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using youraccident.net (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Eligibility
The Site is intended for people located in the United States who are at least 18 years old. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these requirements and have legal authority to provide the information you submit.
3. Nature of the Service
YourAccident provides general accident-related information and a way to request contact regarding a potential motor vehicle accident claim. YourAccident may connect users with participating attorneys, law firms, or service providers. YourAccident is not a law firm, lawyer referral service, government agency, or emergency service.
Using the Site or submitting information does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship can be created only through a separate written agreement with a licensed attorney or law firm.
4. No Legal or Professional Advice
Site content is provided for general informational and advertising purposes only. It is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Laws and filing deadlines vary by jurisdiction and circumstance. Consult a qualified professional about your situation.
5. User Submissions
When you submit information, you represent that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to provide it, and that you are not submitting information about another person without authorization. Do not submit confidential information that you do not want transmitted through the Site.
We may reject or restrict submissions that are unlawful, false, misleading, fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with these Terms.
6. Consent to Communications
By providing contact information and checking the consent box, you consent to communications from YourAccident and participating providers regarding your inquiry, including calls, text messages, and emails, as described at the point of collection and permitted by law. Communications may use automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
You may opt out of emails by contacting info@youraccident.net, opt out of texts by replying STOP, and request that telephone calls stop at any time.
7. No Guarantee of Representation or Result
Submitting a request does not guarantee that an attorney will accept your matter, that you are eligible for compensation, or that any particular result will be achieved. Every matter depends on its unique facts, applicable law, evidence, deadlines, and other circumstances.
8. Intellectual Property
The Site and its original text, graphics, branding, design, and software are owned by or licensed to YourAccident and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the Site only for personal, lawful, noncommercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or exploit Site content without written permission.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for an unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
- Submit false, misleading, or unauthorized information;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or related systems;
- Interfere with Site operation, security, or other users;
- Scrape, harvest, or misuse Site data;
- Upload malicious code or use automated means that burden the Site.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site may contain links to, or facilitate communication with, independent third parties. We do not control their services, availability, content, professional decisions, or privacy practices. Your interactions with a third party are governed by your agreement with that party.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, current, or suitable for any particular purpose.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, YourAccident and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the Site, its content, communications, third-party services, or your reliance on information provided through the Site. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site is to stop using it.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless YourAccident and its service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, unlawful submission, or infringement of another person’s rights.
14. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Site when reasonably necessary to protect the Site, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or prevent misuse.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable United States federal law and the laws of the state in which YourAccident is principally operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any claim must be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
